Sarah Lapointe of the Charlotte Ballet
We originally set out for a downtown rooftop shoot, but as things often go we became distracted by a blue wall in my friend Noi's condo (and a cool chair he had). I wanted to go for something more classical with this shot as a bit of a departure from how I normally shoot and edit. One light hanging above and to the left was a Wescott 35" Zeppelin on a boom powered by a Paul C Buff Einstein and a large reflector on the wall to her left.
Equipment: Credo 40 Mamiya 645 DF medium format and 80mm Schneider LS lens.
I really wanted a fan as there was a really pleasant breeze out that day and her dress flowed beautifully, but all we had in the condo was this:
